The Jewellery

Many materials used in the jewellery I make are natural and as such will sometimes have minor defects or variable shapes or sizes.  This of course is part of the charm and uniqueness of the piece you buy.  All findings are plated except where explicitly stated.  I use kidney earwires for earrings I make because they provide added security with their little catch stopping the earwire slipping out of your ear, while still looking stylish and attractive.

Of course none of the jewellery is edible and some of the amazonian seeds used can be poisonous if consumed.  As with all items with small parts, all jewellery should be kept out of reach of children.

Non-Pierced Ears

I believe that people with non-pierced ears should not be denied beautiful and unique earrings to wear.  Every single pair of earrings I make can be converted to clip-ons for an extra 50p per pair.  They are essentially screw-back fittings which are also hinged, combining the comfort of screw-backs and the ease of use of clip-ons.  This allows you to adjust the fit using the screw, then just clip on and off each time you use them.  To request your earrings with these fittings, please select "Clip-ons" from the "Options" drop-down before clicking "Add To Cart".

Postage & Packaging

Postage and packaging is free for all orders of £25 or over and is just £1.50 for all other orders.  All orders are posted by Royal Mail First Class unless explicitly requested otherwise.  I aim to post out orders 1-2 days after they are placed and First Class post is expected to arrive in 1-2 days.  Pieces are packaged in zip-lock bags, then in a black velveteen pouch and posted in a padded postal pouch to ensure their safe delivery. 

Unfortunately, at present, I am unable to deal with orders from outside the United Kingdom.

Ordering

To place an order with Clarita Jewellery, just add the items you want to your cart.  You can check the contents of your cart using the button at the bottom of any shop page.  As a small business I am not VAT registered so the prices you see are the prices you will pay with no hidden extra costs.  When you are finished, Go to your cart, select your country from the drop-down list to confirm your postage and packaging cost, then click "Check out with Paypal". 

You do not need to have a Paypal account set up to use Paypal.  It allows you to pay using all major credit and debit cards without your financial information being seen by the retailer.  If you do chose to set up an account you will be able to view an online summary of your Paypal transactions.

Once your order is placed you will receive an email from me, confirming all the details.  You will also receive an email to notify you when your order has been posted.  Once you receive your package, please check your pieces of jewellery and notify me immediately if there are any problems.  I always want my customers to be completely happy with their purchases so I will do my best to ensure any issues are sorted out quickly and easily.

Returns Policy

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations you have a 7 day money back guarantee when you buy any item from Clarita Jewellery.  Should you change your mind for any reason, you must notify me, within 7 days of receipt, in writing (by post or email) that you wish to return your purchase and the reason for return.  You will receive a full refund, minus any postage, packaging or handling fees you paid.  You must post the unused returned item to: Clarita Jewellery, 11 Manor Court Road, London W7 3EJ and must bear the cost of this yourself.  You are responsible for the item until I receive it so must take reasonable care to ensure it arrives in the same condition in which you received it. 

*Please be aware that we cannot accept returned earrings due to hygine reasons or any customised piece of jewellery (unless damaged or defective when you received them).

If your item is damaged or defective when you receive it, you must notify me immediately and I will either issue a full refund or, if possible, repair the item and return it to you.
